Hold on to your hat! 1 in 7 people believe the end of the world is coming

They say the Mayan calendar ends in December and some believe that the world will go spinning off into oblivion. NASA, scientist and scholars alike have debunked this theory, yet many people still forsee an end. Amazingly, nearly 15 percent of people in the world believe the world will end during their lifetime -- and 10 percent think it will be in 2012, as it was predicted by the Mayan calendar.
