Who remembers the "longbox"? This staple of the record store was everywhere in the 80's and 90's, soon replaced by the plastic longbox that took an explosive device to remove the treasure that was encased within. The thought process was that when record stores started selling CDs along with LPs, the store could continue to use the existing shelving that held records. Well, enviromental issues (trees) became an issue and these longboxes were shelved and then came the plastic longbox, certainly a much better choice enviromentally-NOT! So here is a gem from 1990 that will leave you asking "how did he get his hair like that?"
