blk. and Sheetz

Project/Problem Description

For out 2012 Oktoberfest, we teamed with Sheetz and Albie and Chris Manzo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey to promote the event, Sheetz, and blk water.

Execution

We created a custom landing page featuring the Manzo brothers promoting the event and blk in a video, and featured 2 chances - one on facebook and one on twitter - for a lucky listener and three of their friends to win a private meet and greet with the Manzo brothers and a basket of goodies from Sheetz and blk. To win, listeners had to change their facebook profile picture to our "I Like The Darkside" graphic, friend or follow Sheetz, and use hashtags to increase their group's chances of winning. We created an additional URL to promote the page and the event, ilikethedarkside.com. Our four FM station sites in Altoona were also subject to a "website takeover" with blk backgrounds, ads, and images featuring blk, Sheetz, and the Manzo brothers.

Result

This was one of our largest interactive projects to date, successfully promoting blk, Sheetz, and Oktoberfest.
