Penn State has hired an athletics integrity officer. Julie Del Giorno will work part time with the university starting in March and begin full time April 1. The university says Del Giorno's will be responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of policies and practices within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics that ensure compliance and ethical conduct.
She will report to the university's chief compliance officer, a position that still needs to be filled by the university. Del Giorno is currently the Chief of Staff at
Law Dean.

The postponement comes after several vendors planned to boycott the event due to organizers announcing a ban on the display of assault rifles and extended ammunition clips at the event.
There is no word on when the show will be rescheduled. An email was sent to ticket buyers yesterday promising refunds and said the process would be posted on the event’s website.
