2 DIE IN ACCIDENTS
a deadLY PEDESTRIAN CRASH Saturday night in Huntingdon county. ACCORDING TO State Police 74 year-old Beverly Dumlao OF ORBISONIA was walking across State Route 522 at the intersection of Elliott Street when she was hit by a car around 9:45. Police say the light was green when the driver went through the intersection. Dumlao DIED AT UPMC Altoona.
A FATAL A-T-V ACCIDENT SATURDAY NIGHT IN CENTRE COUNTY. Deputy Coroner Scott Rawson says 44 year-old Mark Tice Of JULIAN was SPEEDING on Tram Road in THE MOSHANNON STATE FOREST when he lost control and SLAMMED HEAD-ON INTO A TREE. Tice was pronounced dead at the scene.
DEATH INVESTIGATION IN CLEARFIELD
STATE POLICE IN CLEARFIELD ARE INVESTIGATING THE DEATH OF A 27 YEAR OLD MAN WHO WAS FOUND INSIDE HIS CURTIN STREET HOME FRIDAY OR SATURDAY. AN AUTOPSY WILL BE CONDUCTED. NO OTHER DETAILS HAVE BEEN RELEASED SO FAR.
ACCUSED KILLER SURRENDERS
Johnstown Police CONFIRM THAT 21 year old Demetrius Gibson OF TIRE HILL turned himself in Saturday night and is in the Cambria County jail without bail. Gibson is accused in the stabbing death of his girlfriend, 21 year old Elizabeth Miller, almost 2 weeks ago at a moxham carwash. a preliminary hearing date has not been set.
Emergency crews were called to the Blue Knob Valley Airport late Saturday morning after a student pilot SKIDDED ONTO THE RUNWAY DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH THE LANDING GEAR OF HIS PLANE. NEITHER THE PILOT NOR THE instructor WAS inJURED AND There wAS only minor damage to the aircraft.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported THE multi-million dollar settlement with the 25-year old man known as Victim 5. 25 MORE claims STILL NEED to be FINALIZED. Penn State HAS approved spending 60 million dollars for payouts.
STATE COLLEGE POLICE ARRESTED 24 YEAR OLD MATTHEW GUTIERREZ OF Lemont early Sunday morning after he allegedly became aggressive with police as they responded to a fight at the Phyrst BAR. Gutierrez allegedly swung a pool stick at officers and HE IS NOW IN the Centre County prison on 10-THOUSAND DOLLARS bond. HE WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THE ORIGINAL FIGHT, BUT CHARGES ARE PENDING AGAINST AT LEAST ONE MAN. ONE EMPLOYEE SUFFERED A LEG INJURY AND OTHERS MAY HAVE BEEN HURT AS WELL.

The number of drivers ignoring the stop sign on school buses is growing, according to the latest findings from National Association of State Directors and Pupil Transportation Services. It found that cars passed buses more than 85-thousand times oN the day of sampling, compared to more than 76-thousand times in 2011. Over 108-thousand bus drivers were surveyed. The sample results indicate that over 15-million violations by motorists may occur During the 180-day school year.
